Jurnal Penelitian | JURNAL AKUNTANSI IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS SISWA AKUNTANSI | Education is the needs of every human being and plays an important role to improve and develop the quality of human resources which aims to ensure the survival of the nation and the state. Education is a conscious and deliberate effort to create an atmosphere of learning process, so that learners are actively developing their potential to have the spiritual strength of religious belief, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, as well as the skills needed by the society, nation and state (Muhibbin Syah, 2005: 1).
The goals of education can be achieved if there is a good cooperation among the government, community, and the educators. One of the ways to make it happen is by conducting the teaching and learning process. Learning is one of the main keys in achieving the national education goals. A good learning is a learning which is conducted effectively and efficiently in order to reach the goal.
Sugihartono, et.al (2007: 81) states that learning is an effort that was done deliberately by the teachers to transferring knowledge, organizing and creating a system with a various method. So, students can do the learning activities effectively and efficiently with optimal results. The success of education in achieving the goals can not be separated from the learning process which is implemented in the classroom. The learning process in the classroom is affected by several factors, according to Sugihartono, et al (2007: 76-77) In general, the factors that affected the learning process can be divided into two, namely internal and external factors.
