Jurnal Penelitian | JURNAL MATETAMTIKA DEVELOPPING INTERACTIVE MEDIA WITH INQUIRY METHOD HELPED BY CABRI 3D IN FLAT POLYHEDRON FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL GRADE 8 | Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) is a paradigm of education that is developed in Indonesia. In the learning process, this paradigm gives a new comprehension about teaching and learning process. Ref. [3] tells us about the principles of KTSP. They are 1) focus on student’s potential, development, needed, and importance, and their environment; 2) various and integrated; 3) perceptive on the knowledge development, technology, and art; 4) relevant to the life needed; 5) comprehensive and continuous; 6) learn along life; and 7) balancing the national and regional importance. In the realization, teacher as a facilitator in the teaching and learning process while students as the center of learning that active to find and build the knowledge for themselves. So, this paradigm is contain the characteristics of constructivism. 

One of the constructivist learning model is inquiry. Inquiry includes identifying and clarifying issues, gathering, organising, interpreting, and transforming information. It encompasses the processes of creatively, imaginatively and inquisitively thinking about possibilities, analysing, synthesising and evaluating proposes solutions; and explaining and justifying decisions. The skills of inquiry can be used to clarify meaning, draw appropriate comparisons and make considered decisions [4]. Ref. [5] cited that skill which is developed by inquiry learning are curiousity, optimism, creativity, experience, respect each other, giving opinion, responsibility, appreciation, etc. So that, inquiry is very supporting to the student’s creativity and critical thinking. 

Moss in Peixotto in Ref. [2] said that students engaged in full inquiry are doing the following, like learning in a rich environment; activities are focus on textbooks, library reports, and worksheets; demonstrations are done for students; students answer the student worksheets that lead students discoveries; thinking of a question and shaping it into something they can investigate; hiphotesizing; planning an investigation; collecting data; analyzing that data; forming a conclusion; and communicating their findings. 

Besides the inquiry model, learning media also occupies the strategic position to realize the interaction between students and teacher. One of it is interactive media. Now, Interactive media base on computer have been an integral part of educational world. However, Ref. [1] cited that interactive media just based on computer have not adequate. So, interactive media base on computer can give significant contribution to achieve the learning achievement in the class, it should be supported by interactive media base on human being. So that, student worksheets helped by computer is an interactive media which can facilitate students to construct their own knowledge. Ref. [6] told that the students in grade 6-8 should precisely describe, classify, and understand relationships among types of two- and three-dimensional objects using their defining properties; understand relationships among the angles, side lengths, perimeters, areas, and volumes of similar objects; and create and critique inductive and deductive arguments concerning feometric ideas and relationships, such as congruence, similarity, and Pythagorean relationship.
