Jurnal Penelitian | JURNAL MATEMATIKA DEVELOPING ONLINE MEDIA OF TANGENT LINE OF CIRCLES’ LEARNING FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS Survey data APJII (Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association) the largest number of Internet users in Indonesia on the island of Java, but the internet penetration rate in this island is relatively the same as other areas. APJII revealed that the number of Internet users in Indonesia in 2012 reached 63 million people, or 24.23 percent of the total population of this country. In 2013 rose about 30 percent to 82 million users and continues to grow to 107 million by 2014 and 139 million or 50 percent of the total population in 2015 (Oik Yusuf, 2012).

Research in the United States by Pavlik in 1996 about the use of communication and information for educational purposes known to have a positive impact, while other studies conducted the Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST) states that the use of the Internet as a medium of education showed positive results on student learning outcomes.

The existence of the virtual world makes study time more efficient and effective (Novia Ainul Izza, 2012: 2). In the era of rapid development of IT today, the professionalism of educators is not enough just to teach ability learners, but also must be able to manage the information and environment to facilitate students' learning activities (Daryanto, 2013).
